The Chair of Information Security and Compliance is located at the University of Göttingen. The team conducts application-oriented research published in leading scientific outlets in the areas of secure and reliable information system design, network governance of platform ecosystems, and IT acceptance research. All staff have a technical background in information systems or computer science and have profound knowledge in systems design with certifications such as TOGAF, CISSP or ITIL.

The Chair of Information Management is one of three professorships at the Institute of Information Systems and Operations Research at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. The team at the professorship researches and teaches in the areas of business process/workflow management and strategic information management with a dedicated focus on information security & compliance as well as related economic issues.

The Rezeptprüfstelle Duderstadt GmbH (RPD) was founded in 1948 and is owned by the 3rd generation of the family with the managing director Mr. Robert Schmidthals. The name Rezeptprüfstelle refers to the original corporate activity of RPD. In the beginning, the professional examination of drug prescription sheets for the primary health insurance funds in Lower Saxony was our main task.
Today, we are a modern service provider for health insurance companies and their associations. Within the framework of permissible outsourcing, we take on a wide range of tasks to support the health insurance funds in the performance of their duties.
RPD’s main services are the billing and auditing of pharmacies and other entities according to § 300 SGB V (drug billing and consultation supplies), as well as the implementation of services in the area of digitalization.
